I believe in our capacity to make a life that is fulfilling by knowing our authentic selves and freeing ourselves from unconscious or conscious emotional shackles or beliefs that obstruct us and our natural creativity.
I was born in Tehran, a large busy metropolitan city in the middle east. I attended an American school when I was a child where immersing in two cultures within each-other, taught me to be open to seeing reality in different ways.
Although I was interested in psychology from my early teens, my creative side drove me to pursue professional training and careers in creative arts and design and I eventually took on designing human and computer interaction. All my creative pursuits and especially the last one, ended up being a prelude to a deeper desire to understand how the mind works. Of course, along my career path, or even before, life confronted me with the need to understand myself and the world around me more deeply. I have not been immune to pain and suffering and have learned most from reflection on painful challenges.
