I am not married to a modality, I choose an approach that works for you.

Research consistently shows that the best therapy is tailored to a particular person. One person needs a more directive, action-oriented therapy, and another needs insight and introspection from a sympathetic listener.

My approach is derived from decades of peer-reviewed studies on how to shape therapy to you, your needs, and your goals. Furthermore, regular case review and consultation is baked into our model, so we always double-check our work and your progress.

Many of the patterns that bring people to therapy were once intelligent adaptations — ways of maintaining connection, avoiding hurt, or carrying responsibilities that once felt necessary.

In therapy, we explore these patterns with curiosity rather than judgment. Often, change begins when long-standing expectations about relationships are gently challenged by a different experience.

I’m  a Registered Clinical Counsellor in Vancouver, BC, and my work is grounded in depth-oriented and attachment-informed approaches to therapy.
