Touch your depths and find your flow

Psychodynamic & Attachment-based therapy helps you understand the relational patterns formed early in life — and begin to change them from the inside out.

What is Psychodynamic & attachment based therapy

Let’s have a conversation about your experience and how I can help.

Psychodynamic therapy is a depth-oriented approach that explores the unconscious patterns, beliefs, and relational experiences shaping how we feel and live today.

Long before we had words for it, we were already building an inner world — a map of who we are, what to expect from others, and how safe it is to need. That map was drawn in our earliest relationships, shaped by whether our needs were welcome, whether we were too much or not quite enough. These weren’t conclusions we reasoned our way to. They were adaptations. And they don’t stay in childhood — they travel with us into every relationship since, showing up in our mood, anxiety, self-esteem, and the patterns we keep finding ourselves in. By making what was formed below conscious thought visible, psychodynamic therapy allows it to be understood and gradually changed. Research consistently shows the gains last — and we often continue to grow long after therapy ends.

What is the therapy like?

Psychodynamic therapy aims to understand the underlying inner world and beliefs that shape your experience. Bases on your experience the focus of the work may be therapy for anxiety, mood, self esteem, or relationships. Most frequently therapy addresses all these aspects in varing degrees.

The underlying principles of the work are the following mechanisms:

Focusing on emotions

Psychodynamic therapy pays close attention to the full range of what you feel — including what is contradictory, troubling, or hard to name. Many people can explain why they struggle; what this work offers is the chance to feel it differently

Following the patterns

We all do things — knowingly and unknowingly — to avoid what is painful, and most of us have recurring patterns we can’t seem to escape. Making these visible, with curiosity rather than judgment, is where the work begins.

Building & Growing New experiences

Early attachment wounds are coded in in the nervous system, not only in the mind. As you feel genuinely understood, held with consistency, and responded to without judgment, something shifts at a felt level.

Is this work right for you?

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is the only type of therapy that does not frame you in a box, but attempts to understand you with all your uniqueness.

Over time, people often find that:

  • Anxiety becomes less constant and more intelligible — less like a force that controls them, more like information about what they need
  • Moods that once felt unpredictable become less intense and more tolerable
  • Situations that used to trigger old patterns begin to open up new responses instead
  • A quieter, steadier sense of self becomes accessible — one that doesn’t depend entirely on how others respond
  • Relationships feel less threatening and more available, even in the face of real
  • The stories carried about not being worthy of love or care begin, slowly, to loosen
